How we use AI

Where CauVelo uses AI, what it does, and what it never decides.

You're always told

In the CauVelo app, an AI assistant answers questions about a venue's menu and helps you order. Before your first message it tells you, in your language, that you are talking to an AI. It never claims to be a person.

The AI can be wrong

It can misunderstand a question or describe a dish badly. If something matters to you, ask the staff. They have the final word.

What the AI never decides

  • Prices come from the venue's own menu. The total is calculated by our system, never by the AI.
  • Orders are read by the staff in Vietnamese and confirmed by them before the kitchen starts.
  • Allergies are set with buttons. Whether a dish lists an allergen comes from dish information the venue signed, not from the AI's judgement. For a severe allergy, always tell the staff too.
  • Money in hotels: late checkout, refunds and anything outside the hotel's published prices wait for a person at reception.

Ordering works without it

If the AI is unavailable, you can still read the menu in your language and order with a few taps. The order reaches the staff the same way.

Your messages

Chats are kept for 30 days and then reduced to anonymous totals. Voice recordings are not stored. Health details typed as free text are not sent to the AI. The details are in the privacy policy.

Which AI we use

We use AI models from other companies, chosen in our settings so we can switch between them. CauVelo doesn't depend on any one of them. We will name them in the privacy policy before the app opens.

The demo on our home page

It is a script with sample data. It doesn't call an AI, and nothing you tap in it is sent to us.
